A tour of the workspace

The Appricity workspace is organised into five sections, one for each kind of work. On a desktop they sit along one bar across the top of the screen, beside your workspace name and the search box. Click a section, or tab to it and press Enter or the down arrow, to open its menu: every page in the section, each with a line saying what it's for, the section's illustration, and a link to the section's overview page. Escape closes the menu. Each section has its own colour, and the section you're in is highlighted in it so you always know where you are. On a narrow screen the section names shrink to icons; hover over one to see its name.

On a phone the five sections sit along the bottom. Tap one to see its pages in a sheet that slides up; the section name at the top of each page (for example Work ▾) opens it again.

Your account and settings, API keys, Help & docs, the setup wizard and Log out are behind your avatar at the top right. The Help link beside it (a question mark on a narrow screen or a phone) opens these docs. Many pages also have their own Help link beside the page title, which opens the guide for that page. If you've started filling in a form, docs open in a new tab so you don't lose what you typed.

How do I jump straight to a screen, or find a record?

Press Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac), or / when you aren't typing, or click the search box. Start typing, then press Enter. You'll see matching pages first: by name, section or what they're for, each shown in its section's colour. Below them come matching records: agents, conversations, leads, contacts, bookings, sources, playbooks, workflows, demos, role-surfaces, embeds and brand packs, grouped by type. Then come matching docs: guides, feature pages and FAQs from these docs. Search only ever offers pages and records your role can open. With nothing typed, it shows the pages you opened most recently, then every page grouped by section, plus a few shortcuts: go Home, open Settings, open Help & docs, log out and, for admins, run the setup wizard again.

Work: what do I use every day?

Work is where you use the brain and watch what it does.

  • Home: what needs you right now (messages to review, conversations that got no reply, a connection that stopped working), what's happening (conversations, leads and upcoming meetings), your agents with a quick Try it, and your next setup step.
  • Conversations: ask the brain questions and read every channel conversation, with the sources each answer used.
  • Needs review: messages from new senders that the agent wasn't sure it should answer.
  • Documents: the quick way to drop in files the agents should know.
  • Leads, Playbooks and Scheduling: new leads, the outreach that follows them up, and the meetings agents book.
  • Swarm and Activity: what your agents are doing right now, the stop buttons, and the full record of everything they did.
  • Workflows and Admin chat: automated sequences of work, and a read-only assistant you can ask about your workspace's set-up.

Most of the Work section is designed to be usable on a phone.

Knowledge: how do I teach it?

Everything that shapes what the brain knows and how it reasons: Sources and bulk Ingest, Releases, Methodology, Product graph, Prep tools, Refusal policy, Voice (style examples) and the Company profile.

Demos: how do I show the product?

Studio is the place to start: build, preview and manage demos of your product. The Library lists them all, Record captures a new one while you drive your product, and Import turns a written narration into a demo outline. Flows are the compiled form a demo takes.

Surfaces: who sees what?

How the one brain is presented to each audience: Role-surfaces (the job an agent does), Agents (the personas buyers meet), Brand packs (your logo, colours and tone), Embeds (the chat you put on your own website) and Voice deployments (voice agents buyers can talk to).

Operations: how do I connect and control it?

The systems you connect and the rules agents work within:

  • Connections: CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive), Channels (email and WhatsApp), Demo targets and Voice providers.
  • Organisation: Governance (opt-outs, consent, contact hours and limits), Automation (where conversations run and the monthly allowance), Scopes and Settings.

Why can't I see some of these?

Screens depend on your role. Admins see everything above. Users see the day-to-day Work screens, Documents and Settings. If you need something you can't see, ask a workspace admin.

Where do I start?

A brand-new workspace opens the setup wizard first. When you've finished it, or skipped it, Home takes over: its Set up & improve section always shows your next step and everything still missing, until every required step is done. You can run the wizard again at any time from Settings → Setup wizard → Run setup again, or from the menu behind your avatar.
