CRM integrations
Appricity connects to Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive, so leads can flow in from your CRM, lead progress can flow back, and conversation outcomes are logged where your team already works.
How do I connect a CRM?
Open Operations → CRM and choose your CRM:
- Salesforce: Authorize with Salesforce signs you in through Salesforce's own login and consent screen. Tick the sandbox option to connect a test org.
- HubSpot: paste a private-app access token created in HubSpot's settings, with the CRM permissions for contacts and leads.
- Pipedrive: paste your API token and, optionally, your company's Pipedrive address.
Appricity checks the credentials with the CRM before saving and stores them encrypted. They are never shown back.
What can each CRM do?
| Salesforce | HubSpot | Pipedrive | |
|---|---|---|---|
| New leads become Appricity leads | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Lead status written back | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Contact created when a lead converts | Yes | No | No |
| Records synced into Appricity | Leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, notes, tasks, activities, users | Leads and contacts | Leads |
| Conversation outcomes logged as activities and tasks | Yes | No | No |
In HubSpot, leads are read from the Leads object, or from contacts at the Lead lifecycle stage on accounts without it.
How do CRM leads reach Appricity?
Create a CRM lead source (under Playbooks → Lead sources), choose whether to read CRM Leads (recommended) or new Contacts, and optionally filter on one field. Records created after the source is set up become Appricity leads on each sync, and a playbook can contact them within minutes.
What gets written back?
With Write status changes back to the CRM lead ticked on the lead source, Appricity updates the CRM lead when it's contacted, has a meeting booked, is qualified, disqualified or converted. In Pipedrive, disqualifying archives the lead.
Write-back happens after the change is saved in Appricity, and every update appears under CRM → Outbound operations, where a failed one can be retried.
How do conversation outcomes reach the CRM?
Produce outcome on a conversation summarises it and, with Salesforce connected, logs an activity and creates follow-up tasks against the account or opportunity you name.
Can I control what's synced?
Yes. On a connection's Sync configuration, Add entity sync chooses which kinds of record to bring in, previews them, and Sync now runs a sync on demand. Syncs then run on a schedule.
Is Salesforce lead conversion supported?
Salesforce doesn't allow lead conversion through its programming interface, so converting in Appricity links or creates the Salesforce contact rather than running Salesforce's own conversion.
