Admin chat
Admin chat is an assistant for the people who run your workspace. Instead of clicking through screens to find out how something is set up, or why something failed, you ask.
What can I ask it?
Questions about your own workspace's configuration and health, for example:
- "Is this workspace ready to go live? What's holding it back?"
- "What does the BDR role surface use for methodology and tone?"
- "Summarise yesterday's conversation with Acme."
- "What has failed in the last day?"
- "Did last night's workflow run finish?"
- "What does our default brand pack look like?"
To answer, it can look up readiness, role surface settings, conversation summaries, recent failures, quality-check results, workflow runs and brand packs. It may combine several lookups to answer one question.
Can it change settings for me?
No. Admin chat is read-only by design. If you ask it to change, set, delete or enable something, it says so and tells you which screen to use instead, for example Methodology, Refusal policy or Workflows. Nothing in your workspace changes because of something you typed in admin chat.
Can it see other workspaces?
No. It only answers about the workspace you're in. If you manage more than one, switch workspace first and then ask.
How do I use it?
Open Work → Admin chat and choose + New to start a session. Earlier sessions stay in the list so you can come back to an investigation.
Who can use it?
Workspace admins.
Why would I use this instead of the screens?
Because it joins things up. "Why isn't this ready?" might involve readiness results, a role surface's settings and a run of recent failures; admin chat gathers those for you and explains them in one answer, with the screen to go to next.
