FAQ: demos, voice and meetings

What is Demo Studio for?

Turning the way your best people show your product into reusable demos. You record a walkthrough once, with your narration, then edit, reorder and reuse its pieces across as many demos as you need.

Do I need to install anything to record a demo?

No. The recorder runs in your browser: you drive your product in a browser Appricity runs for you, shown on your screen, while your microphone captures your narration.

Which products can I demo?

Web applications. You list the domains a demo may visit, and the demo browser goes nowhere else.

Is it safe to give Appricity a login to my product?

Use a dedicated demo account with demo data. Login details are encrypted, never shown back, and only used inside a demo session.

What happens to my narration?

It's transcribed and lined up with your steps, filling in each segment's script, which you can then edit. It also becomes knowledge, so agents can answer questions in your own words.

Can I start from a written script?

Yes. Import turns a written narration into a demo outline. You then record the steps.

How do I preview a demo?

The Preview tab plays a storyboard of the captured screens with the narration as captions.

Can buyers talk to an agent by voice?

Yes. A voice deployment puts an agent on a hosted talk page where buyers speak with it in real time, in English, French or Arabic. Every conversation opens with a spoken AI disclosure.

Every agent also has its own voice link, ready from the moment you create it: open the agent and copy the link from the Voice link panel. It always speaks in the agent's current voice. It works on any plan that includes voice minutes.

Can I choose the agent's voice?

Yes, per language, with previews, including voices from the provider's wider library. You can also connect your own ElevenLabs or Deepgram account under Voice providers; otherwise Appricity's shared account is used.

Can agents run meetings?

Yes. With built-in scheduling, agents book meetings in the conversation and are live on the meeting link, by voice, at the booked time. Contacts get a confirmation, a calendar invitation by email and reminders.

Can a buyer type instead of talking?

Yes. Agent-run meetings have a typed fallback and a transcript.

Can I limit voice usage?

Yes. Each voice deployment can cap minutes per session and per website per day, and the workspace has a monthly voice allowance.

Does scheduling use my calendar?

No. Available times come from the agent's hours, because the agent runs the meeting itself. Contacts get a calendar file for their own calendar.
