Brand packs
A brand pack is how your agents look and sound on the surfaces your buyers see: the website chat embed and voice deployments. It holds your visual identity, your tone of voice and your standard messages in one place, so every surface stays consistent.
What's in a brand pack?
Identity and visuals
- logo (including a version for dark backgrounds) and icon;
- colours: primary, secondary, background, surface, text, muted text and accent;
- corner rounding and font, including a custom font.
Tone
- descriptors for your voice (for example "warm, plain-spoken, expert");
- a formality level, from very formal to playful.
Behaviour
- a greeting message;
- an out-of-hours message.
Attribution
- whether "Powered by Appricity" appears, and how prominently.
Will my colours be readable?
Appricity checks your colours for contrast as you edit and won't save a combination that fails the WCAG AA readability standard. The editor shows hints and a live preview so you can fix it before saving.
How do surfaces pick a brand pack?
One brand pack is your workspace default; choose Set as default on any pack. When you create a website embed or voice deployment you can pick a specific pack; if you don't, it uses the default.
A brand pack can also be based on another, inheriting any field it doesn't set, so a regional variant only needs to change what's different.
How does a brand pack relate to an agent?
The brand pack controls the surface: colours, logo and tone. The agent controls the persona: name, personality and voice. An agent's chosen voice takes precedence over a voice set on the brand pack.
How do I create one?
Open Surfaces → Brand packs, create a pack, and work through its sections: identity, visuals, tone, attribution and behaviour. Check the preview, then save. Voice phrasing for a voice deployment is set on the voice deployment's own page.
How do I add my logo?
Open the brand pack and, under Visual, select Upload an image for the logo, and again for the version used on dark backgrounds. Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 5 MB. It keeps its shape and transparent background, is resized to fit 512 × 256 pixels, and is saved straight away. SVG files aren't accepted, because they can carry scripts. Export a PNG instead. Replace and Remove change it later. If you'd rather point at an image you already host, select Use an image URL instead and paste an https:// address.
Can I remove the "Powered by Appricity" line?
Attribution depends on your plan: it's required on the free tier, and can be made discreet or removed on paid tiers.
