Use Appricity in your AI assistant
Many sellers already work in an AI assistant all day. You can add Appricity to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or any other assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and use your workspace's knowledge, positioning, collateral, leads and conversations from there, without switching windows. The same rules apply as in the app: you see only your own workspace, and the assistant can do only what you allow.
What can I ask it?
Once Appricity is connected, ask your assistant things like:
- "What do we say when a prospect asks about data residency?"
- "Give me the battlecard for our main competitor."
- "Which leads came in this week, and where are they?"
- "Prepare me for my 3pm with Acme: what do we know, and what have we said to them?"
- "Draft a follow-up email to this lead about the integration they asked for."
- "What are buyers asking that our knowledge can't answer yet?"
Behind those questions the assistant can search your knowledge, ask Appricity for a cited answer, read your positioning and competitor cards, list and open collateral, look up leads, conversations and recent activity, prepare a meeting brief, list knowledge gaps and draft a message. With your permission it can also add a lead, move a lead to a new status, add a knowledge source, start one of your existing playbooks for a set of leads, and take over or hand back a conversation an agent is having.
What can't it do?
- It can't send a message, place a call or book a meeting. A draft comes back to you to read and send yourself. Starting a playbook is the one way to put contact in motion, and then the playbook's own rules (consent, contact hours, opt-outs, daily limits) apply, exactly as when you start it in the app.
- It can't change your settings. Agents, rules, channels and plans are changed in the app.
- It only says what your agents may say about price. Pricing comes back at the disclosure level your team has set for agents, never more. Drafts go through the same checks as a real message.
- It can't see other workspaces. It works in the one workspace you chose when you connected it.
- It can't change anything while your workspace is read-only or its plan has ended. It can still look things up. An archived workspace's connections stop working.
How do I connect it?
Open Operations → AI assistant. The page shows your server address, which is the same for everyone in your workspace, with steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor and a Test connection check. The step-by-step guide Using Appricity from Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants walks through each one.
In every assistant it works the same way:
- Add Appricity to your assistant using the server address.
- Your assistant opens an Appricity page. Sign in as yourself (your assistant never sees your password).
- Pick the workspace to connect, if you belong to more than one.
- Choose what to allow. There are three permissions, and you can untick any of them:
- Read: your knowledge, positioning, collateral, leads, conversations and activity.
- Ask and draft: ask questions and draft messages. This uses your plan's AI allowance.
- Add and act: add leads and sources, start playbooks, and take over or hand back conversations.
- Choose Allow, and you're back in your assistant.
The assistant always works as you: it can do only what your role in the workspace lets you do, and changes it makes show in Activity as made by you, through that assistant.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
Open Operations → Connected apps. It lists every assistant or app that can use Appricity as you, with what it's allowed to do, when you connected it and when it was last used. Choose Disconnect and it stops working straight away. Workspace admins see every connection in the workspace and can disconnect any of them; everyone else sees their own. Connected apps is available on every plan.
If you're removed from a workspace, your assistant loses access to it at once.
Which plans include it?
- Team and above: everything above, with a generous hourly allowance per person.
- Sandbox and Solo: you can try the reading tools (knowledge, positioning, collateral, leads, conversations, activity, meeting prep and knowledge gaps), with a limited number of calls an hour for the workspace. Asking, drafting and making changes come with Team.
- Organisation and above can also give an assistant or an internal tool access with an API key instead of a person signing in (Operations → API keys).
Asking questions and drafting count towards the same AI allowance as the rest of your workspace. When the day's allowance is used up, the assistant tells you so.
Is my data safe?
Your assistant receives only what you ask it for, from the workspace you chose, within the permissions you ticked. Access is renewed automatically while you keep using the assistant, an assistant left unused for a month has to be signed in again, and every connection asks you to sign in again after three months. Disconnecting ends access immediately. Presenter notes in your decks and anything your agents aren't allowed to say to a buyer are never returned.
